• Providing effective, reliable, and timely administrative support for assigned Business Applications.
• Provide daily support, business applications and resolving related technical issues.

• Provide daily administration support for users of RCS and other assigned applications
• Running reports and publishing to a central location on regular basis or as requested by the Customers
• Monitor and manage the security, capacity, load and performance of RCS and other major Business Systems
• Monitor and manage the interfaces and associated log files between RCS, Devices and other major Business Systems
• Pro-active involvement in data verification on inputs and outputs of RCS and other related Business Systems
• Assist the Customers and IT & Security Management in the analysis of data inconsistency issues
• Provide corrective, preventative and adaptive system maintenance.
• Define and control accurate asset records and configurations in the Configuration Management Database (CMDB) for RCS and major Business Systems
• Assist in documenting and maintaining system changes, administration or business procedures, work instructions and forms
• Liaise with various businesses with regard to support, enhancement and business process changes
• Assist in architectural solutions in the expansion of RCS application and its integration with any other business application.
• Support, manage and test disaster recovery plans
• Comply with Incident Management, Change Management, Service Management, and Problem Management processes

• Tertiary Qualifications in Information Technology and or Commerce
• Demonstrated experience as a System Administrator supporting over 100 users
• Windows and Linux Server experience
• Exposure to HP Blade Centres, SAN and VMware systems.
• SQL or DBA experience
• Networking and fault finding experience
• Experience with change release protocols in an IT Operations Environment
• Experience in IT service delivery industry
• Good English oral and writing skills

• MCSE certification
• Knowledge of ITIL practices and processes
• Experience in ticketing or public transportation industry
• Experience in conducting training sessions for small groups of application users
• Exposure to Project Management environment and terminology
• Knowledge of SQL programming language
