The Programme
The Third-Party Monitoring, Research and Accountability programme in Ukraine aims to provide a wide range of monitoring and support services for FCDO’s overseas development portfolio in Ukraine. The programme aims to provide a range of services that will support whole portfolio delivery objectives. This will cover the humanitarian response, Ukraine’s recovery, and improved governance and reform. The TPM will verify results and projects delivered by FCDO’s implementing partners, collect beneficiary feedback data and monitor compliance with FCDO’s agreements and expectations.

The Role
The Data Analyst will be responsible for processing and analysing the quantitative data collected through TPM activities, providing insights that will feed into the overall programme evaluation. This role is essential for ensuring the accuracy and integrity of the data.
Key Responsibilities:

• Analyse quantitative data collected from field monitoring, surveys, and remote monitoring tools.
• Work with the Senior M&E Specialist to produce statistical reports and data visualisations for TPM findings.
• Ensure that all data is processed in compliance with ethical standards and privacy regulations.
• Create data visualisations and dashboards to communicate key findings to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Contribute to the preparation of data-driven reports and research outputs.

The Person

• At least 5 years of experience in data analysis, with a focus on humanitarian or development programmes.
• Strong expertise in quantitative data processing and analysis, including experience with statistical software such as SPSS, Stata, or R.
• Ability to create data visualisations and dashboards that communicate complex findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Proven experience in ensuring the quality and accuracy of large datasets, with a strong attention to detail.
• Familiarity with data ethics and data privacy regulations, particularly in conflict-affected settings.
• Fluency in Ukrainian and English, with the ability to produce clear data reports and visualisations in both languages.
