We are seeking a Geophysicist to assist with the annotation of seismic images for a project in the oil and gas industry.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Utilize provided software to display and annotate seismic images, focusing on marking horizons, faults or areas that are unreadable
• Perform accurate and thorough annotation of seismic images
• Conduct double-checks on previously annotated images to ensure accuracy
• Mentor and guide less experienced team members
• Seek advice from more experienced colleagues when necessary

REQUIREMENTS

• Proficiency in annotating seismic images with experience in the relevant area of at least 2 years
• Comfort and familiarity with IT tools and software such as GIS and data visualization tools
• Ability to work independently on your own hardware
• Ensuring tasks are completed within given timelines while prioritizing the quality of work
• Knowledge of English

• Background in geological studies or oil and gas exploration
• Skills in data analysis or interpretation of geological data
• Flexibility to use different seismic annotation software tools
