We are seeking a Middle Front-End Engineer.

About the project

Haul Hub is the premier research and development organization dedicated to pioneering data collection and automation for government and industrial sectors. Haul Hub specializes in tackling complex challenges within public infrastructure, underpinned by rigorous data management and the deployment of advanced technologies to deliver secure, cutting-edge solutions. Stage of Development: The project is in production with continuous feature enhancements and optimizations. Key Functionality: The platform tracks road construction projects in the heavy industry sector in the USA, offering tools for project management, progress tracking, and real-time data analysis.
You’ll work with the following stack:
React, Type Script, MUI, Mapbox, Arc GIS map, i18next, jest, date-fns, axios, fullcalendar, and Formik.
Team:
4 Frontend Devs from Ukraine, 1 Frontend Dev from client side; 6 Backend Devs from Ukraine, 4 Backend Devs from client side; 5 QA from client side. Candidate reports to Frontend Lead.
Work schedule: Full-time assignment with a shifting time schedule from 13:00 to 22:00. Time Zone: The team is split between Ukraine and the USA, ensuring overlap with U.S. Eastern Time during core working hours. Meetings Involvement: The Ukrainian and client-side teams participate in regular daily stand-up meetings and kick-off meetings for new feature development.

We’re looking for you if you have

• Basic understanding of HTML5, CSS3, and Java Script (ES6+)
• Familiarity with React.js and its core concepts (e.g., components, props, state, lifecycle methods)
• Understanding of responsive design principles
• Ability to work with version control systems (preferably Git)
• Strong problem-solving skills and willingness to learn
• Good communication skills and ability to collaborate in a team environment

Would be a plus:

• Familiarity with React state management libraries (e.g., Redux, Context API)
• Understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues and basic solutions
• Experience with CSS preprocessors (e.g., SASS, LESS)
• Exposure to UI/UX design principles
• Basic knowledge of SEO principles (especially for single-page applications)
• Familiarity with build tools like Webpack or Vite (preferred over Gulp for React projects)
