Senior Python Engineer

It is up to ten times faster and far more effective than last generation products because it uses new sensor technology and artificial intelligence. Unlike traditional metal detectors, it’s powered by AI Software Platform enabling the system to spot weapons while ignoring harmless personal items. It keeps high volume entrances flowing by reliably detecting guns and other weapons as visitors walk through at a natural pace while carrying their phones and bags. Overview: We are seeking an experienced Senior Python Engineer to join our team and play a crucial role in developing and maintaining our AI chatbot systems. The ideal candidate will have significant experience with Python, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) methods, and AWS cloud services. This role will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and optimize chatbot functionalities, ensuring robust performance and a seamless user experience.
- Key Responsibilities:
- AI Chatbot Development: Design, develop, and maintain AI chatbot systems using Python and RAG methods.
- AWS Integration: Leverage AWS services to build scalable and secure infrastructure for AI chatbots.
- Data Handling: Implement efficient data processing, storage, and retrieval mechanisms to support real-time chatbot interactions.
- Machine Learning: Develop and integrate machine learning models to enhance chatbot intelligence and response accuracy.
- Collaboration: Work closely with data scientists, product managers, and other engineers to understand requirements and deliver high-quality solutions.
- Performance Optimization: Continuously monitor and optimize system performance, scalability, and reliability.
- Code Quality: Ensure best practices in code quality, testing, and documentation.
- Experience: 5+ years of experience in Python development,
- RAG Expertise: Proven experience with Retrieval-Augmented Generation methods and related technologies.
- AWS Proficiency: Strong experience with AWS services including but not limited to AWS Bedrock, EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, and Dynamo DB.
- Machine Learning: Knowledge of machine learning frameworks and libraries
- Data Management: Experience with data handling
- Agile Methodologies: Familiarity with Agile development practices and collaborative tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence).
- Problem Solving: Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on delivering efficient and scalable solutions.
- Communication: Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- English - Upper-intermediate
- Big plus: Experience in AI and chatbot systems, Familiarity with Okta, Auth0, and other SSO/Federation systems
