We are currently looking for a full-time Instructional Design Assistant experienced in Technical Writing with the desire to make a significant impact in a company that has a strong demand for engaging content!
Position Overview
As Tech Writer/ Instructional Design Assistant, you will support our instructional designers in creating e Learning and asynchronous courses. You'll use Articulate Storyline to build courses and publish them in our Learning Management System (Matrix LMS). You’ll be working with pre-vetted scripts and tasked with creating AI-generated voiceovers (in MP4 format), capturing system screenshots using Snag-It, and incorporating interactivity into the courses.
Most courses are 5-7 minutes long and end with practice scenarios to reinforce key learnings.
Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with Instructional Designers to create e Learning content.
• Use Articulate Storyline to design and publish interactive courses.
• Generate AI voiceovers and ensure high-quality audio integration.
• Capture accurate system screenshots with Snag-It, ensuring the correct aspect ratios.
• Add engaging interactivity to courses to enhance learner experience.
• Ensure courses meet quality standards, including accuracy in both visual and audio content.

• Attention to detail: Accuracy in both visuals and audio is critical. Mistakes must be identified and corrected before publishing.
• Strong command of English: Our scripts are conversational, and it's essential to ensure correct grammar, punctuation, and tone.
• Tech-savvy and eager to learn: You'll work with various tools and technologies, so a hunger for mastering new platforms is essential.
• Understanding of software development processes: A clear grasp of the software development life cycle (SDLC) will help you succeed in this role.
• Customer-facing experience is desirable: A solid background in collaborating with customers and managing various interfaces is important.
