We work to curate and deliver apps for daily workflow of Mac and i OS users. We are all about saving time and making work on Mac as easy as can be. Setapp is Mac Paw’s subscription-based app service for mac OS and i OS. It provides access to 240+ Mac and i OS apps for daily tasks covering productivity, lifestyle, web development, Mac maintenance, creativity, writing, education, and personal finance

We work closely with carefully selected vendors who have (or are going to) integrated their applications into Setepp. So that this process takes place smoothly and there are no technical obstacles in the future, we are looking for Vendor Support Engineer (Level 3)
We need you to provide a strong link between Mac Paw Product and App Vendors/Developers, ensuring seamless integration with Setapp frameworks and APIs, resolving technical issues, and facilitating the distribution of partner applications

In this role, you will:

• Provide high-quality communication across all contact channels (email, Slack, video conferencing) to support partners effectively.
• Respond promptly and accurately to technical inquiries from partners, utilizing all available support channels.
• Work closely with the Developer Success Manager and other team members to assist with queries and issues during the partner integration process.
• Identify and escalate complex issues requiring development team involvement to appropriate teams (e.g., Cocoa and Back-end Engineers) for resolution.
• Collaborate with Technical Writers to review, update, and improve Partner Developer Documentation.

Skills you’ll need to bring:

• +2 years of experience in Support Engineering/QA
• A curiosity in tech with a strong desire to learn and develop new skills
• Ability to efficiently manage multiple requests
• Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication
• Technical knowledge of i OS and mac OS platforms (understanding of the mac OS/i OS application file structure/lifecycle)
• Advanced English
• Basic knowledge of Swift
• Basic knowledge of git
• Basic knowledge of Terminal
• Experience in mac OS and/or i OS application development (using Apple’s native frameworks)

• Experience with Proxyman or similar tools for traffic monitoring

As a plus:

• Experience and/or courage to learn about mac OS and/or i OS application development using 3rd party frameworks like Flutter, Electron, Tauri, etc.
• Experience with dependency management systems (Cocoa Pods, Swift Package Manager)
• Experience with crash tracking platforms (Sentry, Crashlytics)
• Experience with Fastlane and Fastlane Plugins
• Experience with traffic debugging (request mapping, request breakpoints, etc) on mac OS and i OS
• Knowledge of Java Script
• Knowledge of Objective-C
• Knowledge of C/C++
• Medium or higher knowledge of Swift

Hybrid work model

• Whether to work remotely or at the hub is entirely up to you. If you decide to mix it, our Kyiv office, which works as a coworking space, is open around the clock. The office is supplied with UPS and Starlink for an uninterrupted work process. We also rent space in the Promprylad Coworking in Ivano-Frankivsk and reimburse the costs of renting a coworking space in any other city. If you decide to work at home, we cover the costs spent on your workspace organization: portable power stations, power banks, etc.
