POSITION SUMMARY
- Perform telephone switch programming, maintenance and system diagnostics; troubleshoot switch-related outages.
- determine system load and perform preventive maintenance and expansion of the telecommunications network.
- Perform routine telephone moves, changes, installations and repairs.
- Make sure the PABX is in immaculate condition and communicate with PABX Company for any PABX related issues.
- Fielding, prioritizing, and carrying out service support requests by in-person inspections and from the online work order system
- Perform preventive maintenance, periodic inspection, cleaning, and repairs of equipment.
- Keep a log of repairs and services
- Maintain inventory, as well as to ensure that tools and equipment are properly maintained.
- Comply with hotel and department policies and procedures at all times.
- Swiftly correcting unsafe conditions in work places and bringing to the supervisor’s attention any non-correctable condition noticed
- Identify and suggest new approaches or best known methods to foster continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with other maintenance workers, company’s officials, and staff to effectively provide solutions to maintenance problems
- Attend quickly to emergency call on equipment repair issues, as well as to after work hour calls.
- Perform other duties the supervisor may assign & provides on-site support during special events as well as during off hours, holidays, and weekends, if required.
