The Compliance Officer is responsible for ensuring that all clients of the consulting firm comply with legal standards and internal policies applicable to the United Arab Emirates (UAE). This role also includes supporting the company’s clients in opening corporate bank accounts in the UAE and other jurisdictions (preparing documents for opening an account, providing answers to questions from the bank’s compliance department, advising clients).
Responsibilities:

• Compliance with UAE regulatory requirements;
• Monitoring and evaluating client activities to ensure compliance with UAE laws and regulations;
• Support for opening corporate bank accounts in the UAE;
• Keep abreast of changes in laws and regulations affecting the activities of clients in the UAE;
• Conduct risk assessments to identify potential areas of vulnerability and risks associated with compliance with UAE legal requirements;
• Develop and implement corrective action plans to resolve problematic issues;
• Assist in the development and implementation of compliance policies and procedures;
• Ensure proper reporting of violations or potential violations of UAE laws;
• Provide training to clients and employees on compliance-related issues;
• Communicate effectively with clients to provide guidance on compliance issues.
• Audit and reporting:

Conduct or lead internal compliance audits.
Prepare and present clear and concise compliance reports to management.
Qualifications and skills:

• Knowledge of Russian and English languages
• Bachelor's degree in law, business administration or related field.
• Knowledge of UAE laws and regulations, especially as they relate to business transactions.
• Experience in compliance, legal or risk management, preferably in a consulting or corporate environment.
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of Arabic is an advantage.
