Job overview

Cranleigh Abu Dhabi are currently seeking a Design & Technology (DT) Technician to join the school.
The DT Technician is required to support the Design Technology department by assisting academic staff with curriculum delivery, preparing materials and equipment in advance, and ensuring a safe working environment in line with Health and Safety standards.
Key responsibilities for the role involve ensuring a safe, organized, and well-equipped environment within the Design Technology workshop. This includes managing PPE for students, supporting Health and Safety compliance, preparing materials, maintaining and setting up equipment, and providing technical assistance during lessons. Additional tasks include managing stock, performing daily and annual equipment maintenance, and creating displays for events. Team collaboration is essential to support project trials and ensure efficient, safe workshop operations for student use.
The closing date for applications is Friday, 15th November 2024, but applications will be reviewed as they are received and the School reserves the right to make an earlier appointment.
