We are currently in the process of recruiting for a Desert Field Guide to join the Field Guiding team at Al Maha, a Luxury Collection Desert Resort and Spa, Dubai, United Arab Emirates. Below are the necessary details:
Job description:
The following guest activities will be conducted by the field guide: Falconry, Archery, Desert Wildlife Safaris, Dune Drives (4x4), Horse Riding, Camel Trekking and Nature Walks.
Necessary training will also be provided to successfully conduct these activities.
· F Applicants due to accommodation restrictions.
· 1 – 2 years of field guiding experience with a FGASA Level 1 qualification would be beneficial or,
· 1 – 2 years tour guiding with applicable qualifications.
· Drivers’ license and valid passport are essential.
· Experience in any of the above mentioned activities would be a huge advantage.
· Physically & mentally fit.
· Contract period: 2 year contract with the option to extend afterwards.
· Salary: AED 3,000/- per month (6 Month Probation Period)
· AED 5,000/- per month (1st Year of employment)
· AED 6,000/ - per month (2nd Year of employment)
· After successful completion of a full 3rd year of employment, a one-time retention bonus of AED 12,000 will be paid.
· Benefits include: 3 Meals per day, Uniform, Accommodation, Medical Aid and Work VISA will be provided. 1 annual air ticket per year to home destination will also be provided.
· Relocation will be provided for successful candidates.
