Global Ambassador (Freelance Contract)
The Global Ambassadors at 8billionideas are our pool of incredible freelance facilitators and will be responsible for delivering dynamic and engaging learning experiences during school holiday camps. Ambassadors will play a key role in guiding campers through interactive sessions that inspire curiosity, foster creativity, and develop essential life skills. This role requires a blend of enthusiasm, adaptability, and a strong commitment to upholding 8billionideas values of respect, inclusivity, and positivity.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver Engaging Experiences: Bring learning to life at 8billionideas camps by creating memorable and entertaining experiences using games, media, and hands-on activities.
• Lead and Supervise Sessions: Facilitate camp sessions effectively, providing students with guidance, support, and positive encouragement.
• Communication and Interaction: Maintain clear and professional communication with campers, parents, and fellow staff, fostering a supportive and respectful environment.
• Role Modelling: Embody 8billionideas values, acting as a positive role model for students while promoting respect, inclusivity, and a love for learning.
• Safety and Response: Respond swiftly and appropriately to any incidents or emergencies, adhering to established safety protocols and reporting any incidents as required.

Skills & Experience
Essential:

• Demonstrated experience in delivering learning experiences, either in person or virtually, in settings such as schools, clubs, workshops, performing arts, or youth organisations.
• Ability to adapt to diverse learning needs and levels.
• Ability to collaborate and work effectively within a team.

Desirable:

• Experience delivering lessons or workshops on a variety of subjects.
• Background in coaching or mentoring students.
• Familiarity with giving and receiving constructive, growth-oriented feedback.
• Certification in Safeguarding

Job Type: Contract
