Position Summary
Join the Citizens School community as an Inclusion Mentor, contributing to a culture of innovation, inclusivity, and student empowerment. In this pivotal role, you will work closely with the Head of Inclusion to ensure an inclusive environment where all learners thrive. From supporting students with special educational needs to fostering a spirit of empathy and curiosity, you will play a key role in embedding our vision: Inspire, Empower, Thrive.
Core Responsibilities
- Deliver a personalized and differentiated curriculum aligned with inclusion principles.
- Collaborate with teachers to design learning plans for students with varying needs.
- Utilize specialized tools and resources to enhance student engagement.
- Conduct assessments and reviews to monitor student progress effectively.
- Partner with therapists, psychologists, and external agencies to provide comprehensive support.
- Uphold pastoral care standards, ensuring the well-being and development of all learners.
- Lead co-curricular and community-based activities to extend learning beyond the classroom.
- Bachelor’s degree in Special Education, Psychology, or equivalent.
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in inclusion-focused roles.
- Strong understanding of SEND practices and data analysis.
- Proficiency in technology to facilitate learning and communication.
- Fluency in English with exceptional interpersonal and presentation skills.
