The Arbor School Dubai is currently seeking a well-qualified, caring and inspiring Year 5 Maternity Cover Teacher, preferably living in Dubai and holding a valid UAE residence visa, to join the team: 21st October 2024 to 31st January 2025. You will serve as an integral part of the student journey to deliver their innovative, challenging and balanced curriculum (based on eco-themes/an enhanced English National Curriculum) in their thriving Primary School. The Arbor School celebrates a diverse community of staff and students, united by their creative and innovative engagement towards world class learning and ecoliteracy principles. REQUIRED CANDIDATE PROFILE:

• Native-level English language skills
• Bachelor’s degree in Education or a bachelor’s degree with a PGCE in Education with QTS or equivalent
• A minimum of 2 years’ experience teaching Key Stage 2 in the UK or a reputable British school overseas
• Preference will be given to those candidates currently living in Dubai and holding a UAE residence visa.
• A track record of outstanding teaching and learning and an ability to create a caring and nurturing classroom environment

Offering FS1-Year 13 (Y12 opens September 2024), we provide a unique ecological approach to learning in Dubai. The Arbor School’s educational vision is grounded in the British curriculum and focuses on project-based, experiential and outdoor learning. The school offers modern, adaptive facilities, six climate-controlled biodomes and learning gardens as key spaces to engage children in a deeper understanding of their ecology and environment.
