Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced, passionate, and dedicated Mathematics Specialist Teacher to join our team of educators. As a Mathematics Specialist at Taaleem Charter Schools, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality, engaging, and rigorous mathematics instruction to inspire a love of learning and mathematical curiosity in students. Key Responsibilities:

• Design and deliver well-structured, student-centered lessons in line with the UAE curriculum standards and international best practices.
• Use data-driven strategies to assess student progress and tailor instruction to meet the diverse needs of learners, ensuring that all students reach their full potential in mathematics.
• Foster a stimulating classroom environment that encourages critical thinking, problem-solving, and independent learning.
• Collaborate with colleagues, including other subject specialists and support staff, to develop interdisciplinary projects that reinforce mathematical concepts across the curriculum.
• Integrate technology and hands-on resources to enhance mathematical learning and engagement.
• Participate actively in school initiatives, contributing to a positive school culture and supporting Taaleem Charter Schools’ commitment to continuous improvement.
• Communicate regularly with students, parents, and colleagues to support students’ growth, progress, and wellbeing.

You will:

• Have Qualified Teacher Status and Bachelor in subject
• Possess recent successful experience teaching in Maths as a specialist subject.
• Have a flexible and enthusiastic approach with a can-do ethos
• Be an innovative and reflective practitioner who is keen to learn

Al Salam School - A Taaleem Charter School

As a leading education provider in the Middle East, Taaleem is supporting the UAE Vision and National Agenda 2021, and the Emirate of Abu Dhabi in their commitment to establishing a “First Rate Education System” for all students. The Charter Schools is a third education model in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi and it is the outcome of a unique partnership between the government and the private sectors.
As part of this new initiative we were awarded 4 schools in 2019 to manage and operate, with the aim of raising the quality of education; playing a significant role in shaping the present and future lives of Emirati youth. This increased to 6 schools from August 2021 and increased again in August 2022.
Al Salam is a large cycle 1 school, serving approximately 1700 students from our local community aged between 6 and 11 years.
