RAK Academy Khuzam
RAK Academy (Khuzam) provides both primary and secondary British and IB learning pathways from Pre-K to Grade 12 for 1300 international and local students.
The Role
RAK Academy (Khuzam) is looking for a positive, driven, and inspirational Physics teacher to join a large successful and vibrant Science department. Chemistry and Physics topics. In Grades 9 and 10 Biology, Chemistry and Physics are offered as IGCSE subject options. All students must study at least one IGCSE science subject as one of their options. In Grades 11 and 12 Biology, Chemistry and Physics are offered as subject options in both the A-Level and International Baccalaureate Diploma pathways.
Essential

• Hold a bachelor’s degree in Physics.
• Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Have an excellent understanding of teaching and learning
• Be highly proficient in the use of technology to support teaching and learning
• Engage, motivate and support students
• Be a reflective practitioner with the ability to think creatively and innovate
• Be a positive and enthusiastic member of staff and have a growth mindset
• Be willing to be fully involved in extra-curricular activities
• Have excellent communications skills
• Experience of teaching GCSE/IGCSE/A-Level courses

Desirable

• Experience of teaching Physics for the IB Diploma
• Experience of using Google suite, e.g., Google classroom
• Have a proven record of increasing student outcomes
