To strengthen our team in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, we are looking for a full-time:
Pre-Sales Specialist (m/w/d)
As a key member of the MEA sales team, you will play a crucial role in supporting the sales team by providing in-depth technical consultation, designing customized AV solutions, and ensuring client requirements are met efficiently. The role requires a blend of technical expertise, strong communication skills, and a customer-focused approach to present and deliver high-quality AV systems that meet and exceed client expectations.

Solution Design and Proposal Creation: -
- Collaborate with sales teams to understand customer requirements and design comprehensive AV solutions tailored to their needs.
- Create and present detailed proposals, including technical specifications, equipment lists, and system design diagrams.
- Ensure solutions are cost-effective and meet customer budgets while delivering high performance.
- Technical Consultation:

- Act as the primary technical liaison between the sales team, clients, and the engineering team.
- Conduct site surveys and technical assessments to identify customer needs and provide the best AV system solutions.
- Provide technical presentations, product demonstrations, and training to customers.
- Project Support:

- Assist with preparing tender responses, including the technical elements of RFPs (Request for Proposals) and RFQs (Request for Quotations).
- Troubleshoot and resolve any technical issues that arise during the sales and implementation phases.
- Vendor and Partner Management:

- Collaborate with AV manufacturers and distributors to stay updated on the latest AV products, technologies, and industry trends.
- Evaluate and recommend new AV technologies to enhance customer solutions.
- Cross-Department Collaboration:
-
- Provide feedback to product development teams to help improve AV product offerings based on customer and market needs.
Your profile
- Bachelor’s degree in a technical field, such as Electronics, IT, or AV Technology, or an equivalent experience.
- Proven experience in AV system design and presales support.
- Strong knowledge of AV products and technologies, including video conferencing systems, digital signage, video systems, audio systems, and control systems.
- Familiarity with AV industry standards and networking protocols.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings, schematics, and specifications.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to work both independently and in a team-oriented environment.
Preferred Skills:
- Q-SYS Level 2 and Control 201 Certified.
- Experience with Auto CAD, Visio, or similar design software.
- Certifications such as CTS (Certified Technology Specialist) from AVIXA, or similar.
- Knowledge of IT networking as it applies to AV systems.
- Experience in large-scale AV system integration projects.
