What is the purpose of the role?

The Regional Head of Delivery Excellence will oversee the successful delivery of the project portfolio across the region, growing our organizational competence to getting it right first time, optimizing Time to Value, clearly saying what we will do and doing it, driving Experience First, and the outcomes desired by the customer as well as by Keyloop.

This role requires a seasoned professional who can provide mentorship and coaching to project managers, enhancing their capabilities and performance, even though they do not report directly to this role. The essence is more to “work by influencing” across a broader spectrum than to do so by “command and control”. Nevertheless, the bid managers will report directly to this role.

The role includes taking ownership of certain especially complex or escalated projects and works closely with the regional Delivery Managers who carry the ultimate responsibility for the business, and with the Global Head of Delivery Excellence & Risk (Enterprise).
The role requires occasional travel to meet customers and internal teams.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

Portfolio Oversight

• Oversee the portfolio of projects across the region.
• Prepare and present the portfolio dashboard to the regional and PS leadership teams as part of our monthly processes to fully cover the RAG status.
• Intervene in Red/High Risk situations, engaging with the Territory Heads, project teams and customers to correct and bring back to plan.

Project Manager Coaching

• Be the practice leader for all Project Managers of all levels in the region.
• Mentor and coach project managers on best practices, Sure Start methodology, and tools.
• Provide feedback and guidance to improve project manager performance.
• Share knowledge and expertise to build the overall competency of the project management team.

Standardization

• Identify opportunities for process improvements within project management and Delivery practices.
• Implement and promote the use of the Sure Start project management methodology.
• Continuously feedback on Sure Start to evolve and improve the methodology.
• Champion best practice use of the appropriate Keyloop systems supporting the PS business.
• Build strong relationships with key stakeholders across PS, GTM, Product, Alliances to continually identify potential opportunities to standardize, enhance and optimize delivery of Enterprise level projects.

Sales Alignment

• Manage the flow of Type 0 & Type 1 requests and push the adoption of Packaged Services to drive TTV.
• Work closely with GTM & Alliances to ensure early, frictionless sales cycle engagement, incorporating Sure Start from the beginning to produce robust customer propositions that fully leverage the available experience and knowledge within Keyloop to drive required outcomes for customers and Keyloop – Projects don’t go wrong, they start wrong!
• Continually gather feedback and drive improvements to enhance Customer and GTM quality and experience.
• Manage the bid managers that cover the region.

Skills / Knowledge & Experience

• Influence and guide teams without direct reporting authority.
• Demonstrated ability to coach and mentor others.
• Demonstrated experience of managing large & complex customer IT projects
• Strong customer relationship management skills
• Ability to manage escalated customer situations in the region
• Ability to summarize large sets of data into actionable business insight
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, coupled with ability to summarize.
• Strong understanding of project management methodologies (e.g., PMP, Agile, PRINCE2)
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in project management
