Job Description

Play a crucial role in daily research activities, including data collection, data management, data analysis, manuscript drafting, grant handling, preparing reports, and contribute to the project research output. Run data analysis and summarize obtained results, and actively participate in publications. Communicate effectively with team members, ensuring smooth project operations. Conduct detailed research tasks, perform statistical analysis, and significantly contribute to the interpretation and communication of project findings. Report directly to the Principal Investigator of the study

Minimum Qualification

Master of Science in Human Nutrition or a closely related field along with a Bachelor of Science in Human Nutrition. Strong background in statistical analysis using (e.g. SPSS, STATA, JASP) Experience in community-based nutrition research (preferred in the UAE) Experience conducting nutrition research fieldwork (preferred in the UAE) Excellent verbal and written skills in English Strong interpersonal and communication skills

Preferred Qualification

A high level of conceptual and strategic thinking to manage effectively the project and the field staff Working knowledge of software packages to create and generate spreadsheets and reports

Expected Skills

Track record of publishing in high-impact journals Proven experience managing field nutrition research projects Demonstrated ability to manage and supervise data collection staff working in the different regions of the Emirate of Abu Dhabi (Al Ain, Abu Dhabi, and Al Dhafra) Outstanding interpersonal skills, particularly in developing rapport with field staff (recruiters and interviewers)
