Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and effective lessons aligned with the curriculum for Year 5 students.
  • Create a classroom environment that promotes student engagement, inclusivity, and respect for cultural diversity.
  • Assess, monitor, and report on student progress, providing constructive feedback to students and parents.
  • Implement effective teaching strategies, differentiating instruction to meet the varying needs and abilities of students.
  • Foster a safe and positive learning environment, encouraging students’ personal, social, and academic growth.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to plan and coordinate school-wide and grade-level activities and initiatives.
  • Utilize a variety of teaching resources and technologies to enhance learning experiences.
  • Uphold the school’s mission, vision, and values, actively contributing to the school community and supporting school events.

  • Expertise in planning and delivering engaging, student-centered lessons tailored to Year 5 curriculum requirements.

  • Proficient in using digital tools, educational platforms, and interactive technologies like Google Classroom, Smartboards, and learning management systems to enhance instruction.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in education or a related field; a master’s degree is preferred.
  • Valid teaching certification for the primary level.
  • Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience in a similar role, preferably in an international or multicultural environment.
  • Proficiency in English; native-level fluency is highly desirable.
  • Strong classroom management skills, with an emphasis on creating a positive and engaging learning atmosphere.
  • Demonstrated commitment to fostering a supportive and inclusive educational environment.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
