Values and vision
At Chase High School, academic achievement and personal performance are pursued in equal measure. Within the lower school, students gain the opportunity to study Mathematics, English, Science, PE, Technology, ICT, French, Geography, History, RE, Citizenship, Music, Art and Drama.
Every year, pupils can participate in trips to national galleries, museums and Shakespeare's Globe theatre. They also have the chance to visit France, Berlin and European ski destinations. The sixth-form programme offers a wide range of A Level and BTEC courses at Level 3.
Every student matters and the school policy is to treat everyone with dignity and support. Pupils receive support at key times, such as their transition from primary school.
Ofsted report
“The training programmes for improving the quality of teaching are proving successful. Specific training for overseas teachers has had a highly positive impact since the last monitoring visit. The school now has good systems to support and develop newly and recently qualified teachers.”
