General Requirements:

• Knowledge of technology best practices for building a modern automated Dev Ops platform.
• Good understanding of technologies and experience in building a highly scalable and fault tolerant system.
• Self-starter, capable of working without direction and able to deliver projects from scratch.
• Proficiency in the development (Java/Scala/Kotlin, Python, Node.js, HTML5, CSS3) and Strong scripting skills.
• Dev Ops toolchain experience (Git Hub, Circle CI, Artifactory, Sonar Qube).
• CICD tools hands-on experience (Spinnaker, Ansible, Chef).
• Cloud computing deployment and management experience (AWS (preferred), GCP, Azure) via Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform, Cloud Formation, Pulumi).
• Container management and container orchestration experience – Docker, Kubernetes.
• Monitoring tools Elastic Stack, Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog.
• Strong knowledge of Linux/UNIX and TCP/IP Subnet.
• Strong understanding and practice Agile/Lean projects SCRUM, KANBAN etc.
• Practical knowledge with Git flow, Trunk and Git Hub flow branching strategies.
• Strong English communication skills. Desirable
• Distributed system knowledge applicable to a microservice architecture.
• Breadth of knowledge – operating systems, networking, distributed computing, cloud computing.
• Certified in cloud computing (professional levels: Solution architect, Dev Ops engineer, Security, Network)

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and maintain scalable and highly available cloud infrastructure on AWS.
• Implement and manage infrastructure as code (Ia C) using tools like Cloud Formation or Terraform.
• Monitor and optimize the performance, security, and cost-efficiency of AWS resources.
• Automate manual tasks and streamline operational processes using scripting or configuration management tools.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and provide technical guidance on cloud solutions.
• Implement and manage continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
• Ensure smooth integration of development, testing, and deployment processes in cloud environments.
• Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure-related issues and incidents.
• Ensure compliance with security and regulatory standards in cloud infrastructure.
• Stay updated with emerging AWS services, features, and best practices, and recommend their adoption.
• Document infrastructure architecture, configurations, and procedures.

Job Qualifications
Must-Have Skills:

• Strong experience in designing, deploying, and managing AWS cloud infrastructure.
• Proficiency in infrastructure as code (Ia C) using Cloud Formation, Terraform, or similar tools.
• Deep understanding of AWS services, including EC2, S3, RDS, VPC, IAM, and Cloud Watch.
• Hands-on experience with scripting languages like Python or Power Shell for automation.
• Knowledge of networking concepts and best practices in AWS.
• Familiarity with containerization technologies such as Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
• Strong understanding of security practices and experience in implementing security controls in AWS.
• Experience with Dev Ops practices and tools such as Git, Jenkins, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and communicate technical solutions.

Nice-to-Have Skills:

• Certification in AWS (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, AWS Certified Dev Ops Engineer).
• Experience with serverless computing using AWS Lambda or similar services.
• Knowledge of additional cloud platforms like Azure or Google Cloud Platform.
• Familiarity with configuration management tools such as Ansible or Chef.
• Experience with monitoring and log management tools like Cloud Watch, Datadog, or ELK Stack.
• Understanding of database technologies in AWS, such as Amazon RDS or Amazon Dynamo DB.

Soft and Communication Skills:

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
• Ability to adapt to changing requirements and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks effectively.

Base Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience in designing and managing AWS cloud infrastructure.
• Familiarity with agile development methodologies.
• Knowledge of security and compliance best practices in cloud environments.
