Key responsibilities include:

• Communicate with the firm’s clients and render written and oral advice on various legal and other issues which fall under the practices of the Corporate and Commercial Department, including but not limited to mergers and acquisitions; real estate; banking and finance; commercial and international trade; corporate investment; and labor and employment.
• Assist the firm’s attorneys/consultants and other staff in analyzing cases, drafting documents, preparing advice, and reporting to clients.
• Participate in marketing activities, such as writing articles and publications; speaking at conferences and seminars; joining networking functions; and participating in other marketing opportunities.
• Provide thorough analytical and practical proposals and advice to clients and potential clients in a timely manner.
• Respond to inquiries from clients and potential clients in a timely manner.

Qualifications:
This opportunity would suit a diligent and career-focused lawyer who wants to deal with a high-quality caseload for global clients. In addition to practical experience requirements in the areas mentioned above, you will have:

• Legal practice certificate as a Vietnam-qualified lawyer.
• 2-4 years of post-qualification experience in general corporate law for Mid-Level Associates; 5 years or more for Senior Associates. Lawyers with strong experience in mergers and acquisitions and real estate will be accorded preference.
• Fluency in English and excellent English writing skills.
• Excellent analytical, drafting, communication, and research skills.
• Excellent problem-solving ability.
• Strong commitment to client service.
• Proven record of success in identifying and capturing new business opportunities in the legal field.
• Strong case, client, and team-management skills.
• Willingness to travel as needed.
