Tax Manager

  • Tax Related matters
  • Overall responsible for all tax regulations and matters which are applicable to the company, including but not limited to CIT, VAT, WHT, Transfer price related matters, and PIT
  • Ensure all new tax regulations and updates are well informed to the management and applied accordingly (if applicable)
  • Submit all tax related periodic ad-hoc to related government agencies
  • Be the main coordinator to work with government auditors on tax audits
  • Work closely with Finance, Accounting and HR to ensure all financial/ HR records are recorded and reported in a structured & transparent manner.
  • Tax Compliance practice


Ensure all new tax regulations and updates are well informed to the management and applied accordingly (if applicable)
Ensure good practices & controls are recommended and implemented to minimize tax risk exposures for the company, to ensure robust tax position in accordance with tax law changes as well as business growth.
Act as In-house expertise (or work with 3rd party if necessary) to give advice to related (business) functions to ensure company’s business practices stay compliant with local applicable regulatory requirements
Periodically carry out tax compliance assessments, timely raise tax risk exposure to the management team and recommend mitigating actions including driving the tax health check agenda and partner with other functions to ensure the compliance and consistent process execution across locations.
  • Business Improvement & Control practice
Actively participate in (major) business processes, suggest improvements for better efficiency and controls for company (and to minimize tax risk exposures). Areas of involvement will be (but not limited to): sales to collection, purchase to pay, promotion execution, treasury
Be responsible for tax planning in preparation for future filling and in line with strategies.
  • Implement transformation opportunities that drive substantial automation and productivity improvements: e-invoice, e-tax payment, e-tax learning course


  • Any other ad hoc assignment tasks given by CFO

Qualifications

. Competencies
  • Understand very well Vietnam tax regulations
  • Good people leadership
  • English proficiency in both writing and speaking (TOEIC > 750 or equivalent).
  • Ability to effectively make decisions with limited time and information
  • Achieve results through influence, persuasion, collaboration and relationship building
2. Experience & other requirements
  • Degree qualified in Finance and Accounting area
  • Strong experience in Tax area
  • Big 4 audit background preferable
  • Working experience in Manufacturing / commercial is preferable
Member of a professional body (e.g. ACCA, CPA) is preferable
Primary Location: VN-Ho Chi Minh City
