Teacher of Business Management (& Humanities)

This is the opportunity to join a six-person Humanities Department in a rapidly expanding school in Hanoi, Vietnam. We are seeking a teacher of Business Management with a good honors degree and teaching qualification in the subject specialism. Additional experience of teaching Humanities would be an advantage. Experience of teaching Business Management to post-16 level is required and IB Diploma experience would be an advantage. We expect the successful candidate to have a successful record of achievement and performance and be a strategic thinker able to develop a strong vision, devise strategic plans and show impact.
The candidate must have excellent communication skills with the ability to establish rapport with students, parents and colleagues. We welcome applications from experienced teachers, including teachers for whom this would be their first overseas post. This role will involve contact with children. Reigate Grammar School Vietnam is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff to share this commitment. Applicants must be willing to undergo child protection screening appropriate to the post including checks with past employers and the Disclosure and Barring Services.
The post is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 and the School is therefore permitted to ask job applicants to declare all convictions and cautions (including those which are “spent” unless they are “protected” under the DBS filtering rules) in order to assess their suitability to work with children.

THE SCHOOL
Reigate Grammar School Vietnam is a not-for-profit international school that blends the very best of a traditional British independent school education with Vietnamese values and principles. Hanoi is a great base for seeing some of Vietnam’s most dramatic scenery, although you could spend a lifetime just exploring the city and barely scratch the surface.
