Main Purpose

• Responsible for supporting the conduction of Regulatory trials of GMO traits and related chemistry (residue and efficacy trials), and residue studies for all chemistries according to Regulatory Agencies in each country, internal guidelines, SSHE, quality systems and Trait Quality requirements. Provide support within Cono Sur by generating materials, data and supporting Resistance Management and Scientific Affairs teams. In Argentina, Paraguay & Uruguay, they respond to internal customer requests and regulator questions related to field, greenhouse, or laboratory trials. Support the US teams by conducting Regulatory trials of GMO traits.

Your mission will be to

• Responsible for planning and executing experimental protocols and performing trials (Regulated Field Trials and Residue Studies) to produce high-quality data and samples in Argentina, Paraguay and Uruguay.
• Ability to write scientific reports for multiple agency submissions (example: SENASA; CONABIA; others).
• Provide support within Cono to Resistance Management and Scientific Affairs teams.
• Accountable for cross-functional work in multiple projects for Crop protection & Seeds and Traits areas.
• Develops, executes, and continuously improves a strategic testing plan in alignment with business objectives.
• Operates research equipment, data collection, data management with internal IT systems, and complies with stewardship, ISO 9001 and GLP standards.
• Explore innovative technologies/ideas to expand capacity, increase process efficiency, and deploy technologies in data collection and crop management.
• Create productive relationships with cooperators to ensure timely task completion, data integrity and continuous flow on trialing programs.
• Ensure compliance with Bayer policies, quality standards and SSHE.
• Help to develop and maintain a culture of continuous improvement through workstream evaluation, idea sharing, innovation, and technology adoption.
• Flexibility to travel around the country and to work extended hours during peak seasons.

Unlock your potencial

• Agronomic engineering, Master’s degree or Bachelor’s degree; Agronomy or related field.
• Four or more years of relevant experience (including academic or industrial experience).
• Passion and creativity for solving problems.
• Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously, and agility to shift efforts with changing priorities with a track record of delivering results within established timelines.
• Ability to build strong relationships and networks across functions and teams while expanding the knowledge base through continuous learning.
• English skills good enough to write reports and communicate with stakeholders
