Supply Chain in SAN is a strategic function that provides a driven edge striving for an extraordinary customer experience.
As Supply Chain Lead for South American Network, you develop and lead the local supply chain strategy for four countries (Argentina, Uruguay, Bolivia, Paraguay) in alignment with regional and global direction and based on country needs. You will provide ongoing guidance and consultation to the local supply chain teams, including cascading network, regional and global supply chain strategies, metrics, systems, standards and other tools and resources.
The Supply Chain Lead serves as key business partner to the commercial organization and key ambassador for shaping and development of the Supply Chain. They is a strategic problem solver with an excellent business acumen who can demonstrate this deep understanding of Supply Chain to guide decision-making, provide analytical insight and business judgment to support strategic and tactical initiatives in the countries, and leverage the Network to bring efficiencies and best practices across countries. He/She is a key contributor to the success of the subregional and regional Supply Chain priorities. You will be a member of the LATAM Supply Chain LT and be an active player in the EMEA LATAM Supply Chain community. They will act as a coach for the affiliates and enable people to develop to their full potential, continuously developing capabilities, skills and attitude.

Who you are:
Our new Supply Chain Lead will have:
University Degree/MBA and a consistent track record of ensuring Supply Chain governance and a strong network with the internal and external Supply Chain communities.
Supply Chain experience within the Industry Health or IVD.
Experience in leadership positions, managing high performance teams
Strong experience in project management, drive process improvements and set the priorities.
Solid understanding in warehousing, distribution, 3PL management and Supply Chain Quality Standards
English & Spanish Proficient

Deliver on financials and strategy in the country

Lead the implementation of local, regional and global supply chain initiatives through strong project management and networking capabilities by leveraging synergies across the network.

Deploy and deliver the EMEA LATAM strategic focus areas in the country.

Represent the affiliates’ needs and fuel the EMEA LATAM strategic pipeline to boost Supply Chain as a competitive edge.

Drive “New Ways of Working” methodologies and their implementation

Find opportunities and needs within the country.

Drive local talent management to fuel the regional talent pool and development.
Operations:
-
Ensure operational excellence and sustainability, lead and drive the implementation of continuous improvement within the country (Order Management, Demand & Supply Planning, Warehousing & Distribution, etc.).

Act as the link for the country to key stakeholders e.g. Global Supply Chain, EMEA LATAM, Business Process Management, etc. and programs to deliver a superior customer experience, whilst continuously optimising the operation and guaranteeing business continuity

Ensure key performance deliverables such as inventory levels, distribution costs, write offs are achieved within the country.

Drive and improve customer experience within the country.

Be responsible for day-to-day operations with special focus on resolving any critical issues related to order management, invoice management, etc.

Liaise with external parties including, but not limited to, customers, distributors, third party logistics providers, etc.
Who you are:
