Glitch Productions is an independent animation studio based in Australia making original, long form animated shows distributed on Youtube. Our channel has over 10 million subscribers, tens of millions of views per episode and is still growing strong. Our studio is filled with incredibly talented and passionate artists that are determined to change the way animation is produced and treated in the industry. Our latest IP; Digital Circus, has amassed over 300 million views on the pilot alone and we have a lot more still to come.


Job Information:
Glitch Productions is looking for a highly skilled and dedicated 2D Animator to join our team. This role will see you collaborating with our 2D Team to create high quality animation, helping to bring our upcoming 2D animated show to life.


Your duties will include:

• 2D animation with a focus on strong, communicative poses and scene composition. Emphasis on character animation; effects, mechanisms, props, among other sorts of animation may also be included.
  
• Translating the show director’s vision, intent, and project goals into appealing drawings and timings.
  
• Organizing and preparing project files and other animation assets for smooth transfer between clean-up and compositing departments.
  

The ideal candidate will have:

• A proven history of producing solid, well-timed 2D animation work.
  
• Thorough familiarity with their own choice of animation software, preferably Toon Boom Harmony.
  
• Ability to maintain a high level of quality and meet standards outlined by directors and leads.
  
• Strong organisational and time management skills.
  
• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
