Clinical Risk Manager – Medication Safety & Senior Pharmacist QUM

About the role
We are looking for an enthusiastic Pharmacist who is passionate about medication safety and patient outcomes. This full-time position is responsible for monitoring and compliance with Standard 4 through promoting and monitoring high quality, safe use of medicines at Eastern health.

About you

Essential Criteria

Please refer to the attached position description for full details. Some of the essential criteria include:

• Registration with Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (APHRA)/Pharmacy Boad of Australia
• Proven expertise with utilisation of quality management systems and processes
• Understanding of Clinical Risk Management
• Proven ability to coordinate the development of policy documents and understand the principles of translation of evidence to clinical practice
• Understanding of measurement and monitoring for safety and quality including proven ability to analyse and use data and information for improvement
• Proven ability to work at both a strategic and operational level within a complex organisation
• Proven ability to lead people, including a highly educated workforce
• Demonstrate effective and high functioning communication skills, analytical skills and project management skills.

Vaccination against infectious disease is a mandatory requirement of this role. An offer of employment is conditional on you providing evidence that you are currently vaccinated against COVID-19 with booster & Influenza, prior to commencing employment.
