Who are we looking for?
We are currently looking for a highly experienced and disciplined Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (Mechanical or Avionics) to join our team in Sydney, NSW. If you're a proactive, flexible and experienced professional with a drive to succeed, you're the type of person we would like to welcome onboard.

Your role

In this role, your key responsibilities will include:
Dismantling, inspecting, testing, repairing and reassembling aircraft engines, ancillary components, accessories, and electrical systems;
Conducting routine pre-flight checks and inspections of engines and equipment;
Maintaining thorough records of actions taken;
Assembling components, parts and subassemblies of aircraft engines and equipment, and;
Testing, maintaining, replacing, and upgrading aircraft safety equipment.
The essential requirements

2+ years experience on Dash 8 Q200, Q300, Q440 and A220 aircraft (or similar types, e.g. turboprop aircraft or A320, A330);
Trade Certificate IV (Mechanical) or (Avionics);
Highly skilled and competent in aircraft mechanical system troubleshooting, repair and installation of mechanical components.
Strong team player;
Ability to follow supervisory direction;
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
Consistent positive and proactive attitude;
Passion for safe work practices;
Red ASIC card (or ability to obtain); and,
Current Australian Driver's licence.
Valid work visa;
Shifts will be primarily a rotating 4 on 4 off shift roster that includes both day and night shift.
