We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Assistant Accountant to work on a casual basis.

Role Description
You will play a crucial role in supporting the financial operations of the organisation. Duties and responsibilities as listed below: -
Financial Reporting

• Assist in the preparation of monthly financial reports;
• Perform balance sheet reconciliations;
• Support year-end audit process;
• Perform bank reconciliation and credit cards.

Accounting Activities

• Accounts payable and receivable;
• Conduct accounting tasks in accordance with organisation’s policies and procedures, legislative and reporting requirements;
• Maintain accurate financial records;
• Ad-hoc responsibilities.

Budgeting and Forecasting

• Assist in preparing budgets and forecasts;
• Help with financial planning and analysis.

Qualifications and Skills

• Tertiary education in accounting or a related field;
• Experience in Inerva software is beneficial;
• Excellent attention to detail
• Great problem solving and data entry skills;
• Ability to meet strict deadlines;
• Excellent time management skills.
