Audio Visual Installer Apprentice/TA

Role Overview: As an Audio Visual Trades Assistant, you’ll be an integral part of our AV projects. Here’s what you’ll be doing:
- Installation Support:
- Work alongside experienced tradespeople to install speakers, projectors, and video walls.
- Assist with mounting equipment securely and ensuring optimal placement for the best audiovisual experience.
- Cabling Expertise:
- Handle audio visual cabling, including routing cables neatly and efficiently.
- Connect devices, troubleshoot connectivity issues, and maintain cable management.
- Projector Setup:
- Participate in projector installations, aligning them perfectly for crystal-clear visuals.
- Collaborate with the team to fine-tune projection angles and screen sizes.
- Video Wall Assembly:
- Help assemble and configure video walls, creating captivating displays.
- Ensure seamless integration of screens and content synchronization.
- Quality Assurance:
- Conduct thorough checks to ensure all AV components are functioning flawlessly.
- Troubleshoot any issues promptly to maintain high-quality standards.
- Collaboration:
- Work closely with AV technicians, electricians, and other team members.
- Learn from experts and contribute your skills to successful project outcomes.
- Basic knowledge of audiovisual systems (training provided).
- Strong attention to detail and a willingness to learn.
- Ability to follow instructions and work well within a team.
- Physical fitness (some lifting involved).
- Drivers Licence

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $24.17 – $26.00 per hour
Expected hours: 38 per week
