About your new role:
As a Barista at Alba's Café, you will be at the heart of our coffee shop. You will create hand-crafted beverages and provide exceptional service to all our customers. You'll need to be able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive and welcoming attitude.

Responsibilities:

Prepare and serve a variety of coffee drinks, teas, and other beverages to company standards.
Operate coffee-making equipment, including espresso machines, grinders, and brewing devices.
Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including equipment and customer areas.
Respond to customer inquiries and orders in a friendly and professional manner.
Stock and replenish inventory as needed.
Assist with opening and closing duties, including cleaning tasks and setting up the space for the next day.
Collaborate with team members to maintain a positive work environment.

Requirements:

Experience as a barista or in a similar role.
Passion for coffee and understanding of various brewing methods.
Excellent customer service and communication skills.
Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask.
Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
Team player with a proactive attitude.

Preferred Qualifications:

Barista certification or relevant training.
Food Handling certificate
Experience in a fast-paced hospitality environment.
Knowledge of coffee bean origins and flavor profiles.
