Job Description:
We are seeking a talented and passionate individual to join our team as a Barista Chef and Server. As a key member of our staff, you will be responsible for crafting delicious coffee beverages, preparing light meals, and delivering outstanding customer service.
Responsibilities:

• Barista Duties:
• Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, including espresso, cappuccino, latte, and specialty drinks.
• Ensure consistent quality by following recipes and adhering to our high standards of preparation.
• Operate espresso machines and other coffee equipment with precision and care.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including regular cleaning of equipment and workstations.
• Engage with customers to provide recommendations, answer questions, and ensure their satisfaction.
• Chef Duties:
• Prepare and assemble light meals, sandwiches, salads, and pastries according to menu specifications.
• Safely handle and store food products to maintain freshness and prevent contamination.
• Follow food safety guidelines and regulations to ensure compliance with health codes.
• Monitor inventory levels and communicate with management to restock supplies as needed.
• Collaborate with the team to develop new menu items and specials based on customer preferences and seasonal ingredients.
• Server Duties:
• Greet customers with a friendly and welcoming attitude, providing prompt and attentive service.
• Take orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring special requests and dietary restrictions are noted and accommodated.
• Deliver orders to tables in a timely manner, presenting them with care and attention to detail.
• Anticipate customer needs and proactively address any concerns or requests.
• Process payments accurately and efficiently, handling cash and operating POS systems with proficiency.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in a coffee shop or café environment.
• Strong knowledge of coffee preparation techniques and espresso beverages.
• Proficiency in food preparation and handling, with a focus on safety and sanitation.
• Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to communicate effectively and interact with a diverse clientele.
• Team player mentality with a positive attitude and willingness to collaborate.
• Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Flexibility to work mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
