Experienced Bookkeeper Wanted for Busy Restaurant
Are you a detail-oriented, results-driven professional with a passion for numbers and a knack for managing finances? Our bustling restaurant is looking for a seasoned Bookkeeper who thrives in a fast-paced environment and can take charge of our financial operations with precision and confidence.
What You’ll Do:

• Manage all aspects of day-to-day bookkeeping, including accounts payable, payroll, and bank reconciliations.
• Prepare accurate and timely financial reports to support strategic decision-making.
• Ensure compliance with tax regulations, including GST, BAS, and payroll tax.
• Monitor cash flow, budgeting, and forecasting to maintain financial health.
• Collaborate with management to optimise financial processes and controls.
• Collaborate closely with crucial management personnel

What We’re Looking For:

• Minimum of 1 year of bookkeeping experience, preferably in the hospitality or restaurant industry.
• Strong knowledge of accounting software Xero and MS Excel.
• Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to handle multiple tasks with accuracy.
• Solid understanding of accounting principles and financial regulations.
• A proactive attitude with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent communication skills and the confidence to make informed decisions.

Pay: $50,000.00 – $60,000.00 per year
