- Ensure adherence to best sales practices, and hold the team to good BD discipline

- Design the process around managing the pipeline of live opportunities in CRM, ensuring information is current and accurate (including training of relevant stakeholders such as EAs)
- Leverage Marketing team to ensure content development plans are relevant and impactful for target audiences
- Track, analyse, and report metrics and business development outcomes, extracting insight and suggesting action where appropriate across the 12 Practices (e.g., attend monthly Practice meeting with standard report)
- Undertake or supervise client feedback and listening programme (quality review, conduct win / loss analysis)
- Support, coordinate and navigate efficient proposal processes (i.e., assist with boilerplate content ownership and updates, incorporating best practices for proposal design and case execution)
Education and experience
- Demonstrated experience and familiarity in establishing and embedding a BD function in a small to medium sized professional services firm.
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant area of study
- 10-12+ years of experience in a business development / client relationship role in a professional services setting, and ideally with experience selling B2B services / intangibles
