What We’re Looking For:

• Passion for woodworking and craftsmanship.
• A willingness to learn and embrace new challenges.
• Team-oriented attitude with excellent communication skills.
• Previous experience in woodworking or related fields is a plus, but not required!
• Strong mathematical skills.
• Strong Problem-Solving skills
• Mechanically minded and able to use hand and power tools.
• Ability to follow procedures and directions from supervisors.
• Able to manage time and meet deadlines.
• Good written and verbal communication.
• Excellent health with a capacity to perform manual work.
• Driver license.
• Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
• Strong commitment to health and safety.

About the role:
Your responsibilities would include but not limited to:

• Assisting on joinery and cabinetry installations as required.
• Workshop labouring – machining timber, assembling cabinets and furniture, manufacturing doors and stairs, preparing equipment, keeping workplace tidy and free of obstacles.
• Use of basic hand tools.
• Keeping job sites clean and tidy.
• Basic errands as required.
• Fitting hinges, drawers and shelves
• Working with solid timber and manufactured board products.
• Attendance of Tafe as required.

Requirements:
The following are required for the job:

• White card.
• High Communication Skills.
• Safety boots.
• Reliable with a strong work ethic.
• Ability to read drawings and accurate use of tape measure.
• An Appropriate Level of Fitness for the Demands of the Role.
• Manual Drivers License.
