Key Responsibilities
- Design and Fabrication: Create custom cabinets and furniture pieces based on client specifications and design plans.
- Material Selection: Choose appropriate materials and finishes that meet quality standards and client preferences.
- Assembly and Installation: Assemble and install cabinets and other wooden structures, ensuring precision and quality.
- Maintenance: Perform repairs and refinishing on existing cabinetry and furniture as needed.
- Collaboration: Work closely with designers, architects, and other tradespeople to ensure project success.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized workspace.
Appropriate candidate must have the following skills, education and experience:
Education: Certificate III or Certificate IV or Diploma
Australian Experience: At least 3 + years of Australian Experience OR
Overseas Experience: At least 3+ years of Overseas Experience
Specialist: Cabinetmaker
Work Rights: Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident or Full Work Rights Holder
Skills: Proficient in using woodworking tools and machinery; strong understanding of woodworking techniques and materials.
Attention to Detail: Ability to produce high-quality work with precision and accuracy.
Communication: Strong interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with team members and clients.
Problem-Solving: Ability to troubleshoot issues and propose creative solutions.
Australian Citizens and Permanent Residents will be preferred. Other applicants with full work rights can apply only if they meet the above criteria.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $70,000.00 – $85,000.00 per year
