About the Role

• The position is required to provide support to all facilities including Princess Alexandra Hospital, Logan Hospital, Redland Hospital, QEII Jubilee Hospital and Beaudesert Hospital and various community sites.
• Ability to prioritise works, projects and timeframes, manage costs and make responsible and accurate recommendations, to produce an effective work output in terms of quality and quantity, without supervision. (duration, parts, equipment, people, contracts, permits, isolations)
• Manage allocated resources under minimal supervision from the Trade Co-ordinator and Trade Supervisor. Including, overseeing the work of contractors and operational staff, ensuring deadlines, specifications and quality standards are met, producing effective work output in terms of both quality and quantity.
• Order materials associated with maintenance work orders including estimating cost, sourcing suppliers, price comparison and adjustment of work schedules to meet availability of materials.
