Central Coast Local Health District is looking for an enthusiastic and caring Enrolled Nurse to join their "2022 Team of the Year" and 2024 finalist. Our Orthopaedic/Vascular Inpatient Unit (K9) at Gosford Hospital is seeking a dedicated Enrolled Nurse for a permanent part-time position, offering 20 hours per week. This is a unique opportunity to be part of a team recognized for excellence, providing high-quality care in a supportive environment.

As an Enrolled Nurse in the Orthopaedic/Vascular Inpatient Unit, you will play a key role in delivering patient-centered nursing care. You will assist patients with activities of daily living, provide physical and emotional support, and perform nursing interventions under the supervision of a Registered Nurse. You will also monitor and assess patient health, collect accurate healthcare information, and contribute to care planning and evaluation. Your responsibilities will focus on ensuring continuity of care and promoting patient well-being.

About You

Current registration with AHPRA as an Enrolled Nurse (Division 2) with a Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia approved qualification for administration of medication (including intravenous medication administration).
You have knowledge and skills/experience in orthopaedic/vascular nursing.
You have an understanding of team nursing & demonstrated ability to work effectively as part of the multi-disciplinary health care team.

Where you’ll be working

You will be working in our 28 bed Orthopaedic/Vascular Inpatient Unit at Gosford Hospital. Our Enrolled Nurse is an integral part of our nursing team, and will be working under the direction and supervision of our registered nurses to support and care for our patients.
