Located in Lightning Ridge NSW 2834, we are looking for a centre director to join our cosy centre. You will be welcomed in a positive and welcoming environment in a well-resourced, quality child care centre. Centre operates 48 weeks a year, with children of 2 - 5 years old. It’s the ideal job for semi-retired directors or someone looking for a change in lifestyle!

The Role

• Oversee the day-to-day operation of our long day care
• Be a dependable educational leader and work with a small team of educators
• Approve programs from educators and contribute ideas
• Maintain a safe and healthy environment for children and team members
• Ensure all documentation adheres to regulatory standards
• Communicate closely with parents and service provider
• Honest, diligent and passionate character

Role Requirements

• Diploma or Bachelor of Early Childhood Education*
• Prior experience as an assistant Director or Director (Preferred)*
• Solid knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and National Quality Standards (NQS) and Rating and Assessment process
• Professional verbal, written and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work 30 hours + per week
• Ability to work during shift hours (ranging from) 8am - 4:30pm Monday to Friday
• Ideally available to start training under current director from 21st November
