Risk Management is responsible for developing and deploying the risk frameworks to allow the Group to take conscious exposures to credit, market, operational, compliance and insurance risks within a Board-approved appetite.

Risk Data Insights and Analytics forms part of the Group Risk Management function. RDIA uses data and analytics to transform Risk Management through automation, self-service tools and data science. RDIA focuses on innovation with a proven track record of regularly and incrementally adding new features and capabilities to already best-in-class CBA capabilities.

Do work that matters
You will join the Risk Data Insights and Analytics (RDIA) crew, within Risk. The RDIA crew supports the group via a variety of self-service reporting and dashboards (with over 6.5k CBA users). This team provides regular reporting to external regulators, CBA market disclosures published on the ASX, regular reporting to the Board and senior management. RDIA also develops and operates internal web applications which are key BB and IB&M's credit origination and credit workout within GCS.

Software Engineering

RDIA owns and operates risk software which is critical to:

• Origination of corporate credit (PD Tools & LGD BRE).
• In life risk management of corporate credit (Risk Copilot)
• Dedicated customer relationship management applications to support clients in workout (farlo)

Tech stack

• Within RDIA we have a number of different tech stacks including Microsoft stack (ASP.net and SQL Server). Python (Django) and Pega.

On a day to day basis you will:

• Manage a chapter of 20 developers/testers who support 4 product owners.
• Work directly with business stakeholders
• Support Dev Sec Ops related activities for your applications
• Drive innovation via continuous improvement for your products.

We are interested in hearing from people who have:

• Understanding of AWS cloud computing services.
• Strong understanding of Dec Sec Ops
• Excellent stakeholder management and capable to influence business decisions.
• Confidence in driving problem solving sessions with stakeholders in a structured manner.
• Experience with end-to-end analytic project delivery including scoping work, planning, conducting analysis and making recommendations, analytics support and/or developing presentations.
• Sound written and verbal communication, business partnering, teamwork and collaboration skills, and time management with multi-task skills in a fast-paced environment.
• Preferred but not required: understanding of non-retail credit originations and workout.
