Clinical and Quality Leader - Residential Aged Care Funding Assessment (AN-ACC)

We've been awarded a contract to undertake Residential Aged Care funding assessments (AN-ACC) of residents in residential aged care facilities in QLD on behalf of the Australian Government Department of Health and Aged Care.
About the role
You will lead a team of 15-20 FTE aged care professionals who will visit aged care facilities across QLD to assess residents using the AN-ACC assessment tool. You will provide in-field support to assessors to ensure the quality and consistency of assessments plus develop assessor support and quality assurance mechanisms. Comprehensive training and support will be provided in relation to the AN-ACC assessment tool, no prior knowledge is required.
On offer
- Highly attractive salary $133,000 p.a. + 11.5% super
- Permanent full-time position
- Hours: Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm
- Full training provided in the use and application of the AN-ACC assessment tool
- All technical equipment including laptop and phone
- Reimbursement of travel expenses
You’re a Registered Nurse, Occupational Therapist or Physiotherapist with a minimum 10 years’ experience within the residential aged care sector, with at least 5 years’ of that experience in people management, quality or clinical management.
You have:
- Current, general AHPRA registration.
- Excellent leadership skills.
- A flexible attitude and ability to adapt to changing environment or circumstances.
- The ability to work unsupervised to support a diverse and widely located team.
- Willingness to periodically travel across Queensland (including regional areas) to complete site visits and clinical and quality reviews of the assessment team.
- A valid driver's license and reliable car.
