Job Summary: Cabinet Maker - Machine Operator
The Cabinet Maker Machine Operator will be responsible for operating various machines used in the cabinet-making process. This includes setting up machinery, ensuring the highest standards of quality, and maintaining a safe working environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Machine Operation
Operate woodworking machines such as CNC routers, saws, drills, and edge-banding machines. Perform machine setups for specific job orders.
Quality Control
Ensure that products meet quality standards. Perform inspections on machinery and tools to ensure operational efficiency.
Safety and Maintenance
Comply with all safety rules and regulations. Perform routine maintenance checks on machinery and report any issues to the Production Manager.
Material Management
Load and unload materials onto machinery. Store materials in designated areas.
Documentation
Maintain accurate records of machine operations, material usage, and quality checks.
Teamwork
Assist other team members as needed. Coordinate with other departments for smooth workflow.
Continuous Learning
Keep up-to-date with latest industry technologies and best practices.
Qualifications:

• At least 2-3 years of experience in operating woodworking machines.
• Knowledge of cabinet-making processes and machinery.
• Familiarity with safety protocols and PPE (Personal Protective Equipment).
• Basic mathematical skills for measurements.
• Ability to read blueprints and technical documents.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift up to 20kg
• Good hand-eye coordination.
• Willingness to stand for prolonged periods.
• Manual dexterity for operating complex machinery.
