Container Unloader - Eastern creek

Location: Eastern Creek
Job Summary: We are seeking a diligent and hardworking Container Unloader to join our logistics team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for unloading shipping containers and ensuring that all cargo is handled safely and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Unload Containers: Efficiently and safely unload cargo from shipping containers, ensuring that all items are handled with care.
- Inspect Cargo: Check the condition of cargo upon unloading and report any damages or discrepancies.
- Sort and Organize: Sort and organize items as per warehouse standards, ensuring they are stored in the correct locations.
- Inventory Management: Assist in maintaining accurate inventory records by counting and scanning items as they are unloaded.
- Maintain Safety Standards: Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
- Previous experience in warehousing, logistics, or a similar role is preferred.
- Ability to lift heavy objects (up to [insert weight] lbs) and perform physical tasks.
- Familiarity with safety protocols and equipment operation.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
- Good communication skills and teamwork ability.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $33.00 per hour
Schedule:
- 10 hour shift
- Australia (Preferred)
