We are seeking a dedicated Accountant to join our team in Joondalup with a min 3 years experience in a similar role with excellent interpersonal skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently. See below for more details.
Role Scope
- Min 3 years experience as an Accountant working in private enterprise ideally Manufacturing, Engineering with a single company or group of entities with interests locally or nationally or regionally.
- Sound experience month-end processing including journals, preparation reconciliations.
- Experience with daily reconciliations of assigned bank accounts.
- Manage supplier invoices, all transactions entered and recorded accurately.
- Execute weekly AP runs and manage creditor pay runs, upload payments to each bank.
- Reporting for weekly processes and month end as required and including budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, board reports and cash flow management including variance analysis and commentary.
- Xero payroll management and processing, including superannuation.
- Prepare BAS & IAS returns.
- Monitor P & L review and management accounts as well as monthly balance sheet reconciliations.
- Stakeholder engagement with CFO and clients/suppliers.
- Adhere to compliance and internal financial controls for data integrity in the ERP.
- Compliance: Ensure all financial activities comply with relevant laws, regulations, and company policies.
- Financial statements preparation and facilitate any tax matters as required.
- Investment / Capex administration and process management.
- Fully qualified with CA / or CPA.
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience as an accountant.
- Sound understanding and experience with financial reporting, accounting principles, regulatory standards.
- Commercially astute.
- Highly analytical, problem-solving capabilities and excellent stakeholder engagement internally and externally.
- Poven Xero accounting software experience.
- Ideally experience within any of the following industries Manufacturing & Engineering or Civil Construction.
- Highly adept with MS Excel.
Pay: $90,000.00 – $120,000.00 per year
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- Australia (Preferred)
