The role
Snooze , in the Mile End Home centre is seeking a Delivery Driver/ Product Installer to operate store motor vehicles in order to conduct customer deliveries and complete furniture installations /assemblies . The position is an important customer facing role in the Snooze product supply chain.
The successful applicant will have the following skills and attributes:
- A car license is required to drive a light truck (less than 4.5 tonne) with a safe driving history;
- A courteous manner toward customers, customer service experience is advantageous;
- A good fitness level with an ability for manual handling often heavy, bulky goods;
- The ability to assemble bed frames and furniture;
- The ability to load and unload goods from trucks;
- Good attention to detail with sound IT /systems skills.
At times , the role also involves general warehouse assistance .

This Role will commence as a casual position with opportunity for a permanent position if so desired. Weekend (Saturday work) is required on occassions.
