Webbie's Mechanical are seeking a trade qualified Heavy Duty Diesel Mechanic - Road Transport to join our team on a full time basis. Everyday is varied and we offer the opportunity to work on multiple makes and models of trucks. We work on both American and European prime movers, small rigids as well as trailers. If you are looking for a role to diversify your skills this is the role for you! We are seeking a mechanic who would like the opportunity to lead.
MAIN DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
All tasks associated with being a diesel mechanic including but not limited to;

• Prime mover servicing and repairs
• Engine rebuilds on a variety of engines including C15, Cummins & Isuzu
• Ability to work independently
• Maintaining a clean workshop
• Component change outs such as gearbox and diffs
• Diff overhauls
• Fault finding for repair
• Test driving vehicles once job completed
• Team work
• Opening and closing workshop
• Occasional site work or call out may be required
• Monday to Friday 8am-5pm

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
Qualifications:

• Diploma or Certificate IV in Heavy Duty Diesel Mechanics
• C Class license
• HR desirable but not required
• LF desirable but not required

Experience:

• Experience in a similar role/industry which includes experience on European and or American prime movers.

Skills:

• Trade qualifications (Will consider a 3rd or 4th Year Apprentice with the right attitude)
• Previous experience on European and/or American prime movers
• Excellent verbal and written communication
• Organised and able to meet deadlines
• Willingness to learn
• Ability to work in a team
