9D Care offers a range of supports and assistance to a variety of local residents, including help at home, social inclusion and community participation. We are looking for people who can provide practical and emotional help to others, calling on their own real-life experiences to build rapport and relationships. Your support will enable our clients to remain living independently and comfortably in their own homes, throughout the Melbourne Region, VIC.

About You: We require our Care Workers to be reliable, committed, and empathetic individuals to provide quality care as a Support Worker.

Experience in various outdoor pursuits and activities A practical understanding of hygiene assistance and commitment of care Enjoyment in social activities, and one-on-one engagement Understanding of physical limitations and a safe, sensible approach Creativity, enthusiasm, sensitivity and emotional stability Strong communication and organisational skills - able to manage your time and support clients to do the same in an everyday capacity People who have some extra time and appreciate being with others Those who have strong work ethics and enjoy being team player Commitment to providing responsive and considerate care Prioritise punctuality and reliability Prioritise individual, family and guardian needs Flexible and adaptive communication skills
Qualifications required:
· Certificate III in Individual Support, Aged Care, Disability, Community Services or equivalent.
· Physically capable of meeting the requirements of the role.
· Current First aid Certificate.
· Valid NDIS screening check clearance (Required).
· National Driver License and your own and registered vehicle. (Required)
. Experience in working with children having disability. (Required)
· Familiar with cooking Indian cuisine. (Required)
. All applicants must have a relevant visa or working rights in Australia.
· At least one year of experience supporting people with disabilities.
