About the Role


Reporting to the Chief Technologist, the Radiographer provides high-quality, accurate and efficient radiographic imaging services to the business that meet professional and company standards, whilst ensuring an absolute commitment to the delivery of professional, caring and friendly services to patients, referrers and customers, and achieving quality, cost and productivity targets for the business.

Your Key Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, accurate diagnostic imaging services to referrers and patients in accordance with professional, ethical, and industry quality standards.
• Receive and interpret requests from referrers for medical imaging examinations and determine the appropriate imaging techniques that will provide optimal diagnostic information for the radiologist.
• Determine the appropriate imaging techniques that will provide optimal diagnostic
  information for the radiologist and limit patient exposure to radiation.
• View, analyse and modify the images to optimize the information, consulting with colleagues and the radiologist as required.
• Develop and maintain strong working relationships with patients, referrers, staff, and managers.
• Participate in ongoing professional development activities to enhance skills, expertise, and self-capabilities and keep well-informed of advancements in imaging and technology.

About You

• Demonstrated experiences as a Radiographer
• Proficiency in operating radiographic equipment and using relevant software
• Strong understanding of radiation safety procedures and protocols
• Experience in other modalities (desirable)
• Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively
• A qualification in Medical Radiography to meet the standard for membership of the Australian Institute of Radiography
• National registration with AHPRA
• Current EPA SA Radiation Licence
